Yes, we do.

1 Corinthians 2: 12-15

Quoting scripture proves nothing.

Please accept my apology if I misunderstood your question. I did not reference the scripture to serve as proof of our belief, but rather to help you understand why we are able to believe.

1 Corinthians 2: 14–15 states,

14 The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit. 15 The person with the Spirit makes judgments about all things, but such a person is not subject to merely human judgments,

May I ask you why you are here? Why are you engaging in this particular space? I can only assume that somewhere deep inside you are searching for truth and proof.

You see, without the Holy Spirit of God that indwells in us, we would be as blind and deaf as any unbeliever. God is fair and just. Because he is fair and just, it is important to him that every person has the freedom to make their own choice regarding what they believe.

It is important that you know God’s Holy Spirit is available to all people who honestly want to know the truth about him. The only requirement is that they must actively seek the truth. They only need to ask him.

Our fair and just God knows that no one is able to make a decision concerning anything if he/she does not have all the facts. Before and during the time Jesus walked on the earth in flesh, there were many false gods, idols created by man, and false teachers that coerced many people who began to worship them. The miracles we read about that he performed were a necessary part of the facts. The miracles were performed to prove that he was and is the only one and true God. It is he alone that has the power to create and destroy.

I do not want to debate my beliefs or yours. But, if you are sincerely seeking the truth, I implore you to read the gospel of John. It is crucial that you take a moment before you read to ask God, even if you doubt, ask God to enable you to see and hear the truth. If you sincerely want to know the truth, rather than asking others for proof that validates their belief, begin a sincere investigation to search for evidence that disproves God’s words in our Holy canon.

It is my hope and prayer that God impresses these words on your heart and the hearts of others who may read this.
